Luke joined Granite Insurance as a Risk Placement Specialist in January 2025, shortly after earning his degree in Actuarial Science from Appalachian State University. With a background in actuarial analysis and prior service experience, he brings a unique combination of discipline, critical thinking, and analytical expertise to the team. His ability to adapt quickly and tackle complex challenges allows him to deliver strategic, tailored solutions that empower clients to protect what matters most.

Luke’s journey with Granite Insurance began as an intern, where he gained hands-on experience and firsthand insight into the company’s commitment to growth and development. That foundation paved the way for his current role, and he is eager to continue learning, innovating, and making a lasting impact.

Outside of work, Luke enjoys spending time on Lake Norman and maintaining an active lifestyle—he’s an avid mountain biker, a dedicated snowboarder, and a passionate guitar player. On weekends, you might find him fishing on the lake, carving up mountain bike trails, or rocking out to hair metal in his free time.
